Use troubleshooting procedures to
identify faults within the feeder/distribution and trunk systems to ensure
proper signal level, picture quality and compliance with all laws. Assists
in the installation and activation of fiber optic cable, trunk and feeder
coaxial cables related to network operations. Corrected faults in the HFC
systems by adjusting, repairing or replacing passive and active solid-state components to maintain
standards. Utilized a field strength meter, optical test equipment,
spectrum analyzer, QAM analyzer, hand tools and splicing tools to repair
the cable system. Performed system balance, system sweep operations,
completed test point measurements reports and conducted power supply
maintenance on a regular basis. Required to climb 30 poles utilizing gaffs
and ladders. Drove truck with an aerial lift for general construction and
pole line transfers.

Plans, supervises and performed tasks
required to install, operate, and service electric generating and
distribution systems, wire communications and associated equipment.
Prepared shop drawings and sketches; reads and works from construction
drawings. Directed personnel in the installation and operation lighting,
fire alarm, airfield lighting and aircraft arresting system. Maintain and repair all solid-state equipment for the
utilities operations. Responsible for the installation,
maintenance and repairs interior, exterior, overhead, underground
electrical systems and components. Prepared work progress and material
usage reports.
